I actually would have preferred to know more about the Z. I originally thought that this creature or character might be a grimm. But the more I consider, it actually is more like a hexenbiest than a grimm, especially in its use of a talisman, which is the staff.
Rather than a religious angle, I can see more of a biblical one, since Moses' staff was mentioned.
Nick was able to use the staff and he is not a wesen. IMO Z could have represented Hades like wesen.
Grimm never explained where the keys came from or why Grimms and hexenbiest would work together yet many of us here could have thought of a way of doing that.
I originally thought the Zerstorer was a grimm, but it doesn't act like a grimm nor does it look like a grimm. It also doesn't make sense that grimms would kill it if it were a grimm. I don't know why Monroe would know so much about it because it doesn't appear to be wesen to me either. It makes me think the creature is a hexenbiest.
Nick might have been able to control the staff because he was the first to touch the shard. If Monroe was the first to touch it, it may have reacted to him.
Monroe compared the Zerstorer to Lucifer or the devil. If that's the case, would Nick really be able to kill it without taking its place as the next Zerstorer?
You mean Zauberbiest.
