Just not sure how much...Hi Face,
You may recall 4.17 "Hibernaculum" this opening scene (NBC Recap underline added):
Quote:As Nick sits at home alone and turns photos of him and JulietteSo Royal Prince Captain Renard provides information to Juliette to help her attempt to murder Adalind. Then to celebrate Renard and Juliette engage in loveless, licentious fornication. So how is it that Nick's boss shows how he cares about (respects) Nick by helping Juliette plan a murder and then having some hate sex?
face down, his former love sneaks up on a bloodied Renard in his
bedroom demanding to know where Adalind is. Still reeling from his
fight with Kenneth, Renard relents and gives her the name of the
hotel where Adalind is staying. Having gotten what she came for,
Juliette begins unbuttoning her top. Renard hesitates, but after
Juliette promises this will hurt, he gives in and kisses her.
I have never seen any good in Sean Boy. You may recall:

Renard does a good job as the show's villain. There is only one person he cares about and that is himself. Every act he does and every decision he makes is self-serving.

I believe on that day Renard could been under the influence of Juliette( remember how Henrietta seduced Nick and he could not stop and kissed Henrietta) remember after Nick realize how Henrietta got him to kiss her she told Nick to beware of Juliette...I deduce that Hexenbiest Juliette pulled Renard into her spell...because once he woke up he did not call out her name or anything and never thought of it again .....until he was at the spice shop and they told him that Juliette was no longer and he had a flash back...so I put Renard sexual encounter on Juliette using her hexenbiest powers
You may also recall Renard's sexual predator-like behavior in 2.08 "The Other Side." From Grim Wiki:
Quote:At the PD work function, Renard gives his speech, all the while throwing glances at Juliette. Juliette is just as captivated by him. After the speech, Renard has drinks with Wu, Juliette, Nick, and Hank. The latter two are called in for Brandon's homicide, and Renard offers to take Juliette home while Nick is away.IMO, your boss should be able to drive your woman home without sneaking in and watching her shower. Juliette is not innocent, but she did not invite him in.
. . .
Renard drops Juliette off at her house, but doesn’t drive away. He watches Juliette enter the house. Juliette goes to take a shower. On the way in, she notices a framed photo of her and Nick. Renard sneaks into the house while Juliette is in the shower and picks up the frame. Juliette hears him, and thinks that it's Nick. When she comes out to check though, there is no one in the house, and the framed photograph of her and Nick is cracked.
