She certainly didn't help Nick's cause. She didn't plead for his life and despite what you say, Bonaparte captured him anyway. If her actions were so great and wonderful, why was it Rosalee was in disbelief when she saw her on the stage with Renard? In truth, Adalind was simply protecting herself and her child. She figured Nick was going to lose and in losing, he was not going to be around for her. She went to the side she felt was stronger, not because Nick wanted her to, but because she wanted to. I don't fault her for that at all. She was weighing sides and went with the one she felt was going to win.
And by the way, why is it that whenever Adalind is brought up in discussion, you feel you must counter with something about Eve that really has nothing to do with the discussion?
Once again You make up abousoulte crap, according to the actors that played the characters and the characters themselves Adalind left to protect the kids and Nick, you claiming she chose what side she thought would win is the biggest load of garbage I ever heard. Your bitterness is clearly showing you are bitter as hell how the show ended in the past two seasons particularly Adalind redemption arc.
How could Adalind plead for his life Boneparte chocked her then stormed straight out of the house after Nick, in 5x20 she pleaded to Boneparte about Nick and told him she wouldn’t betray Nick. She saved Nicks ass in 5x22 by going to get Dianna to help him. As for not caring about Nick and leaving because she thought he would Lose, just more trash from you without basis in the show. Adalind was in tears beacuse she had to leave Nick and go to the mansion and refused to betray Nick until Boneparte nearly killed her and only give the information because she had to protect her children as kelly would be alone with Boneparte if she died, which is what she said to Nick in 6x01. She immediately made up for giving away the loft location by rushing upstairs to get Diania to help Nick.
If Adalind truly wanted to just chose which side she thought would win she simply would have obeyed Boneparte and make things work with Renard but she didn’t she refused all Renards advances. To say Adalind did nothing to help Nicks cause seriously, Adalind was the one who warned the gang Boneparte was coming she also played a criucial role in helping bring down Renard in early season 6, Monroe even told Nick she saved his ass when getting Renards clothes in 6x03, she also done the tie me knot spell to help the gang. As for Rosalee yes she was rightly upset about seeing Renard and her on tv but she didn’t know the full context at the time and she clearly forgive Adalind by 6x02 as her first words when meeting Adalind in 6x02 were I can’t imagine how hard it’s been for you, hardly the words of someone who thinks Adalind betrayed Nick of her own free will.
Adalind also warned Renard she would kill him if he hurt Nick so you claiming Adalind didnt plea for Nicks life is totally without merit also, which is why when Adalind threatened Renard in 6x03 again he responded with I’ve heard it all before. Adalinds first scene in 6x01 is her nearly crying with kelly in her arms telling him his daddy will be ok hardly the actions of someone who didn’t care as long as she was on the winning side. Her words to Renard in 6xo1 what are you doing still alive he responds with thanks for you concern she resoupnds you and Boneparte went to kill Nick why should I be concerned about you, once again she clearly only cares about Nicks well being not who’s the winner.
Plus tell me why exactly in your mind would Adalind think BC was a sure bet to win as at the time Adalind arrived at the mansion HW were just as strong as BC as they hadn’t yet been ambushed and Renard wasn’t yet Mayor, Infact Adalind was even skeptical Renard would win the mayorship which is why she siad to Renard in 5x20 what happens if you lose tomorrow. Adalind left because she wanted to protect her kids first and foremost as well as Nick as Boneparte had threatened thier lives and she was desperate to see how Diana was doing, any other reasons are just made up by you and have zero show narrative to back them up. As for Nick not wanting Adalind to leave with Kelly of course he didn’t but he accepted her reasons for leaving which he told Trubel in 6x01. Nick didn’t hold any grudge what so ever about Adalind leaving neither did Monroe and Rosalee beacuse they realized she did what she thought had to do to keep her family safe.
Script from 5x21 Adalind phones Nick phone wu picks up.
cell phone ringing] [dark music] Adalind? Wu? Where's Nick? - He's been arrested.
- What? He and Renard kind of got into it, and I don't mean verbally.
HW was wiped out.
Wu- Renard killed Meisner.
Adalind- Meisner's dead? Look, I can't talk right now.
Adalind-Uh, wait, Wu, can you get Nick a message for me? [sighs]
-Wu- I can try.
Adalind- Uh, can you just tell him I'm sorry and that Kelly's good, and I love him? And if there's any - Adalind? Renard interrupts the conversation - [line beeping] [suspenseful music] Hey.
Adalind tries to reach Nick to explain things properly but Wu answers instead and Adalind tells Wu to tell Nick she sorry and loves him and then is about to tell Wu to tell nick if there’s anything she can do for him only Renard interrupts. Theses are hardly the actions of a woman who is just picking which side she thinks will win she clearly wants nothing more than to be with Nick and her children together.
