Once a show hits four seasons, it has reached the ideal number of episodes for syndication. Additional seasons will require that the episodes make money on their own, but neither OUAT (if the show's ratings continue to decline) or Grimm have the ratings for that. If one of the shows gets a syndication deal this season or next, that might be enough to keep the show on the air for a few more seasons.
In the case of shows like CSI, NCIS, those shows have had good/great ratings throughout most of their tenure. NCIS in its 11th season is beating OUAT in its 3rd Season.
