Today, it VERY rare to find skillful writers shipping or non shipping.I watched the first two seasons and thought they had great chemistry and enjoyed their friendship and interaction. Adalind is probably the first female character I've enjoyed as much as I did Cordelia, but like Whedon with Cordelia, Greenwalt didn't have a clue what to do with Adalind as the show progressed. I admit though, reading some of the better written A/C fics, I found myself liking the idea of romance.
Quote:I like reading so I was an avid fanfic reader years ago before the quality began to drop off a cliff. It’s been so long since I’ve read any, I haven’t thought about the writing quality dropping over time. I remember there also being wonderful fanart by some really talented folks. Most of the Ats and A/C fanfic I read had beautiful art made specifically for a story.

Hexenadler, you don't need to defend why you write Nick/Juliette fanfic.(05-26-2017, 05:38 AM)Robyn Wrote: That's true with most shipped couples. I never got the impression Hexenadler wrote fanfic because he loved writing about Nick/Juliette. He wanted to write their story the way he thought it should have progressed. You're way, way off base there, Robyn. While I definitely hate the direction G & K chose to go with Nick and Juliette in season four, I find them much more engaging as a couple than "Nadalind," a relationship that was ethically questionable almost right out the gate for a few reasons, all of which the writers (and many of the fans) simply swept under the rug and hoped people wouldn't notice. Except they did.

But it's my opinion. That's why I have asking if there are other who ship Nickliette because I want to read what I like - and not because it is more popular.Loona, no one has suggested that you read Nick/Adalind or any fanfic you're not interested in. If you don't mean to complain, then stop complaining. Scully1987 and I offered two sites with Nick/Juliette fanfic. Go read and enjoy. And if you accidentally click a Nick/Adalind fanfic - just breathe and hit the back button.
