Then Kelly saw that if she come back into Nick's life without taking out the ones who started it they would learn she wasn't dead. The old saying you can never go home was in play here. Looks like Marie did a great job raising Nick.
I was thinking of Aunt Marie's warning today and wondering if maybe the warning goes a little deeper than what I originally thought. I'm going to apply it to Kelly rather than to Nick because Marie might have been talking about Kelly when she was warning Nick.
Kelly could not be a Grimm and a wife/mother at the same time. Syscrash was right. Trying to be both ended up costing her husband's life and her friend's life. Those deaths were her fault and I believe she knew it.
At that point in her life she had two options. Take Nick with her and go into hiding or remain a Grimm and go into hiding. She of course chose the Grimm life. I think she had fully embraced the Grimm life and loved it. There was no turning back as she had no intention of giving it up. I think she also realized she was just fooling herself into thinking she could actually be a mother to Nick. That could be the warning Marie was passing along to Nick. She was telling Nick that he was only fooling himself into believing he could be a potential husband and partner to Juliette.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
