I just wanted to tell you that the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy was a big subject in Germany, too. It was all over the news, there were several biographies on TV today.
We do remember him as the most famous president America ever had. The Germans loved him very much. My father keeps an old record he bought in 1963 with JFKs speech in Berlin on it
