Personally I wanted to see Nick w/o any emotional ties that keep him from "doing what Grimms do" (as Trubel would say). I expected to see Nick act as a vengeful Grimm who wanted to make some heads roll for Juliette's death. I am still hoping to see that at some point this season. These emotional love triangles keep getting in the way though.
Uh...sex? I mean maybe he doesn't need a girlfriend per sey but at least a FWB. Every man need a scabbard for his sword, at least until age and infirmary takes away his virility. It is especially true for those who have constant life an death struggles, or major challenges in life. There is an urge to procreate (well you don't want that as the end product but your body is primed to make you try) that needs to be addresses, at least by males. I doubt the same is true for women as stability is more conducive for them it seems.

Sounds like the writers wanted to answer the shippers question, but setup for how they will raise Kelly together but will not really be a couple. The show is trying to define co-parenting.
Are you sure that is what happened? It sounded to me like they both acknowledged they had a thing for one another but the timing was just a bit off. Sort of, they are both open to it and interested in each other as a man and woman thing. You seem to feel otherwise - anyone else have an opinion?

If only for what it stands for. It's also large enough it seems to hold a key inside it *lol* I just feel like it has something to do with her and her past or she is (perhaps generation or genealogy wise, as several have touched on in here - as I've read extensively what has been written) so ... and spiritually the Knight holds symbolism too ... awakening of the spiritual initiate acting in the world. It moves by leaps of intuition along the sides of a right triangle. It alternates between white and black squares with each move, therefore, engaging the head and heart in each action. Only a knight or a pawn can initiate the first move of the game. The knight can make a move that even the Queen cannot make. So are we going to meet the Queen since we met the King. Who's the Bishop and Rook as we all know who the pawns (the wesen/wessen) I'm just wanting several things to be explored why I hope it is picked up again if anything to wrap things up or if this is it for the show maybe come back (not as many years later as the X-Files although that would put Kelly as a teen) anyway next season or down the road in some type of two hour special or even a five or six episode arc or some sort.
This may be of interest to you.
Richard Boone, as Paladin, in Have Gun Will Travel probably explained the significance of the knight as a chess piece the best:
"It's an attack piece, the most versatile on the board. It can move eight different ways, over barriers, and [is] always unexpected."
