Suppose they have a real troublemaker on their hands who's resisting arrest and all other means of being subdued. Does a wesen have the right to try a woge and see if that would work?
A little bit of reality. I have taught LEOs all over the country, restraint techniques, submission, how to survive hand to hand etc. On the other hand I am not a man of large physical stature. I am about 5'10" and extremely strong and quite thickly muscled but with a rather kind face.
In my community I would make a lousy cop.
We like 'em 6'1" plus and 260 lbs on up in my area. There is a reason for that. The bad guys out here tend to be big, many bulked up in prison. If they resist all a smaller person can ultimately due is hurt them and presto: lawsuit time. Given many of the gangbangers around here have no reasonable expectation of a long life they are more than willing to go out in a blaze of glory. And it is a badge of honor around here to hurt a cop, bonus points if you can intimidate them. I have several LEOs as private students, men who were cowed on the streets by one or more bad guys who don't want to fear anyone again.
The officers who are large simply have less offenders who resist them. They are more effective at their jobs, need less backup etc. Size is a very effective intimidation and compliance factor. To your point of inquiry, I think it would very appropriate to woge. It is an added intimidation and compliance factor. It might save on injuries both to the officer and the offender. For that reason I would support the use of the woge as a tool in the law enforcement toolbox.
Oxford commas are so totally rad!.
