She see Nick's and Adalind friends as being different than her father's friends, making a complete family circle. Nick's friends because she and Nick are the only two to see both outcomes, dieing to keep her safe, now granted Sean did also but he did it with Nick's scoobies.
One thing I'll add here because it seen out of place at the end. Diana tells Kelly to hurry up saying mom and dad are both on they way plus Monroe's children. So that 2 Grimm's 2 hexenbiest one with amazing powers, 3 wessen and the staff what could they be up against to require the much horsepower? Some group wanting a BC startup?
@js, I realize I'm jumping into this conversation rather late but, I wanted to make a couple of observations. When it comes to Diana calling Nick "dad" you might want to think about Nick being a family guy type while Renard most definitely is not. Nick would probably end up being the guy who filled the "dad" role in her life.
Also, we are assuming Renard lived much longer. In the 2nd to last episode Truble said BC had been wiped out. Renard was still alive then, but, maybe HW decided to tie up a couple of "loose ends" at some later date?
Or, Renard may have decided to try and take the throne. As King Frederick's son (bastard or not) he could make a strong claim. He either succeeded and is the head of the Royals, or he failed and is fish bait.
Just some thoughts.
