I just learned there is a series of coins put out by german's national bank which shows Grimm motives (of course, we're talking about the original fairy tales).
Each coin shows the value of 10 Euros and they are official instruments of payment here in Germany (but not EU-wide). But practically they are only for collector's purposes for everyone pays 10 Euros with banknotes and not coins.
The first ones showed the faces of Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm themselves:

The second edition was about snowwhite and showed the poisoned apple and, if you look closely, the dwarves:

The next will be about (Yeah!) Hansel and Gretel, it will be published in February:

I'm no coin collector, but I think I will get me at least the Hansel and Gretel coin, kind of a must-have for me bearing this nickname
