You are saying you reject what the writers say when they explain what they are doing. Your reason is what they say does not match what you see. Seeing as there are a lot of us that do get it. Have you considered maybe it is your comprehension.
This is not the writers first show. Based on their credits and awards they are accomplished writers. That alone requires that they be given the benefit of doubt that they know what they are doing and know what they are talking about. That you don't understand them is not their fault. There are a lot of people that do not get poetry. Or have the inability to understand Shakespeare. I am not saying G&K are Shakespeare. But like Shakespeare they have a method of expressing their message.
The problem i see is so many create assumption not based on fact. But based on a narrative that they feel what the show should be. The biggest assumption is Juliette became a violent and evil creature. There are comments that refer to her as a sociopath and a psychopath.
How many times have there been posters that insist Juliette killed Kelly. Yet the facts do not support that assumption. The writers do not support that assumption. The show even made a point to show Juliette did not kill Kelly. They never spoke of killing anyone. They even removed her from the action.
Yet when challenged these posters claim that is their opinion which makes it true. They misquote and exaggerate what they see or hear. They make assumption and claim what a character should have known.
The other big complaint is not understanding why characters do not act like they feel they should. Or that the show does not explain the how and why of something. Even if the how and who would only satisfy their curiosity and not add anything to the show.
It is interesting that people keep trying to prove a point by ignoring facts only relying on opinion. They feel it is the rest of us that have the problem. It has been said "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts". Opinion are the opinions. It is only facts that are undeniably true.
