I suppose we'll be seeing Lois and Clark's baby during the crisis.
I really worry that the CW may be adding more than they can handle for the crisis. I'm not certain they can handle this huge event. Having a bunch of special appearances is cool and needed for the crisis but I don't want the main characters to be downplayed in order to highlight all of the cameos.
Kara, in particular, has gotten the short stick in previous crossovers and I'm concerned about that happening again especially since it's Oliver's farewell and The Flash has been teasing it from the start. Kara could be left as the third wheel again and the addition of multiple Supermen could overshadow her.
My recollection of the original "Crisis" was that it was pretty much a massive collection of cameos, most of them by characters who were there just to be killed off.
The question in my mind is not so much what characters will be in it and how much screen time they'll get as it is who will still be alive at the end. We probably shouldn't expect the TV casualty list to exactly match that of the original comic.

I love her as Lois Lane, hopefully she'll be given more to do.

They will not kill off Kara as long as her show is still on air. A Superman, likely Brandon Routh's version, is on the chopping block.

I'm not concerned about them killing her or The Flash. I think they may kill an AU SG or Flash and a version of Superman is definitely biting the dust.
My concern is really about how the focus on certain characters will be divided. I'm certain Oliver will get the most, followed by Barry, and then Kara. Oliver is getting his special send-off and Barry has been worried about the Crisis from the beginning so it looks like Kara is in danger of feeling like an afterthought like she did in most of the Invasion and Elseworlds crossovers.
There's also of the special appearances and different versions of Superman that will take up screentime as well although only Superman really concerns me. I really like him and Bitsie's Lois but I don't think they should get as much focus as they did last year. Routh's Superman probably won't get that much time since he still has to play the Atom and I agree he is most likely the Superman that will die.
With all that being said, I am mostly optimistic about this event but these small concerns I have keep creeping up. I thought Crisis on Earth-X was the best crossover yet and they had a lot of characters so I'm not too cynical about it as long as they remember to respect Kara and some of the Legends's roles such as Sara and Ray in this event. Ray was mentioned in the battle in the newspaper from the start and Sara leads the Legends and is almost as responsible for the start of the Arrowverse, since she was on that boat as well, as Oliver is so they shouldn't forget it.

I think the problem with Kara often feeling like an after thought during these crossovers, especially now that they feature her cousin is due to the showrunners poaching 90% of all of Clark's plots/role and retrofitting them for Kara but whenever he's around she unwittingly gets sidelined. I think it's unintentional but inevitable. Oliver is basically the Batman of this universe and gets to enjoy everything revolving around him as a result. It IS the Arrowverse after all. It began with him. Barry, is Barry and has his own stories to enjoy that revolve around him to get good character arcs so he's got no problem with crossovers. Kara is at an enormous disadvantage because much like Ollie being a "Batman", she's this verse's "Superman" but without the benefit of being there at the start, leading from the front.
They've done well to elevate her but there's something that still feels lacking because she's not THAT Kryptonian people are familiar with. It's easier to short change her than the others. Clark could easily become (one of) the team leader(s) if he was a regular or had his own show. It's like a default setting. It doesn't work out so easily for Kara, she gets relegated instead. After all these years, you'd think the writers would readjust their mindset. If she's this universe's version of THAT Kryptonian, they need to actually write her such across the board and not just in terms of her feats on her own show but also include her having a sort of gravitas that goes with being a Super in the crossovers. Let Barry and Oliver defer to her for leadership etc. Tip the balance of the scale in her direction as he hope to see.
I could be wrong since I don't actually watch the shows, except when they feature Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Speaking of Ray, I heard about the actor will no longer be on the show. That's unfortunate.
I got the strong impression last year that Kara was only included because she's supposed to be part of the trinity but they really don't have much interest in telling her story in the crossovers. As far as I can see , she was included last year for three primary reasons as it concerns the story fort for Elseworlds which were:
1) the use of Superman
2) build a relationship with Batwoman
3) be the reason for Oliver's deal along with Barry
The point about her being the Arrowverse's Superman is well-taken because they definitely would've used Clark without her if they could've gotten away with it.
Kara and Kate will be the female version of World's Finest so they needed to make her and Kate connect with each other quickly. Oliver is leaving so the friendship that he and Barry he have will sort of be replaced with Kara and Kate.
Oliver sacrificing himself for Barry could've worked by itself but they wanted to have their own version of Barry and Kara dying so it made sense for them to have Oliver make a deal for the both of them.
Crisis on Earth-X was the best use of Kara since she was actually the reason for the Nazis invading since they wanted to transplant her heart into Overgirl. They still did a lousy job with her over the second half of the crossover since she was a helpess hostage for most of it but even that was an improvement. She did get to actually save the day that time when she flew Overgirl into space before she exploded.
