With the talk of a Trubel spin-off I have been doing a rewatch to see exactly how that could work. Paying attention to the details somethings do not make sense. The main one is the show making it seem Trubel did not know about Eve. We have seen enough of HW to realize Eve was at one end of the hall and Trubel was at the other. No way she would not have seen or meet Eve. Also once the show does acknowledge Trubel knows Eve. They show them having a good working relationship. They also show Trubel has a fully furnished room at HW. Are we to believe she got the room after talking to Meisner about Juliette. It also makes no sense of her making it seem like she had no place to stay, and that is why she was staying at Nicks. The other thing Meisner tells Trubel it is time to go. She has a black eye. The same black eye she has when she shows up at Nicks. We know Trubel does not always tell the truth and hides a lot of thing when it comes to HW. She is a true covert secret agent. I had assumed she left HW on a mission got beat up and ran to Nick. But that make no sense, why not back to HW. Instead she in injured and goes to Nick somewhere she has never been. It makes more sense she left HW in the condition she showed up at Nicks. It was all a ruse to give her a way back into Nicks inner circle. If you notice Trubel seemed more to be spying on Nick then their as a friend.
For Trubel to be a spin-off they would need to clear up exactly who Trubel is. Is she a spy or is she a Grimm. Trubel can not solve cases, she does not drive a story. She has been the subject of a number of stories. We have never seen her do anything on her own. She is always part of something.
