You're splitting hairs. Nick went back in time because his wish was that they all be alive and well. Aside from that, as far as Adalind is concerned, it never happened.

You really don't think Nick could come up with an explanation? Certainly he could do better than stating that Adalind is a wonderful mother or a pretty blonde, don't you think?
That's what I would be interested in, because we would have it from his point of view.

You never read posts, do you, henry? You just spout something out, whether it makes sense or not. I never said Nick didn't love her. I merely posed a hypothetical question. You yourself have commented that you didn't think much of his relationship with Juliette. During that relationship, he told her he loved her, more than once. We all know how that relationship ended.
I'm not discounting those three little words, but by the time Nick gets hurtled back through the mirror, Adalind's never heard them.
I’m not “splitting hairs”. Remember the quotes were a respond to this: “I have seen little to show that Nick loves Adalind”. The scene showed us Nick express his feelings for Adalind.
I was just writing what Nick said about her and that he probably could add more. I have never claimed to know what Nick would say if you had asked him, but his statements are the closest we got to “his point of view”.
Regarding the “I love you” - scene in 6x12. I’m of the impression Nick must have told Adalind off-screen at an earlier stage. My best guess is before he left Adalind in Renard’s mansions in 6x1 or before she went back in 6x2. She didn’t seem surprised when he told her, and much of the stuff in season 6 sort of assumed that they had clarified this issue.
Nick told Adalind to meet him where she first told him she loved him and told her he was going crazy without her. They lived sort of a normal family life, sharing bedroom, sleeping with each other, Rosalee placed them in the same hotel room in 6x7, and so on. Nobody was questioning Nicks feelings for Adalind at this point. There was a lot of “important” stuff going on off screen anyway. Nick told Adalind about the stick- it was never shown. Nick bonded with Diana, because she went from being really skeptical to fully accept him during a few episodes – despite them not being seen together at all. I’m sure Diana, who asked a lot of questions about why Adalind and Renard did not love each other, would ask Nick what he felt for her mother. And then we have the cut scenes, like Nick sleeping with Adalind when she moved back in to the loft and Adalind telling Nick she was worried about Renard trying to turn Diana against him. The point is, I find it highly unlikely that this issue was not dealt with at an earlier stage.
I’m not saying anyone must agree with this theory or that it must have happened. I’m just saying I find it very likely. I guess the creative team wanted to postpone this scene until there was some real drama going on and they could play tender music in the background. To sum up: Nick didn’t tell Adalind anything she didn’t already knew.
