I don't think us thinking Eve is smart would have meant Eve would reject Nick if he showed earlier on that he wanted to reconcile when "Juliette" started coming back. The show immediately established that Eve was aware of Nick moving on at the very beginning of the season (she told him she sensed his feelings for Adalind before Adalind ever returned and had that weird reaction down in the tunnels when Nick told Adalind he thought he'd go crazy without her), she could have sensed it as far back as S5 but as robotic Eve, she had better control of her tongue but not so much in S6 so it stood to reason that she wouldn't entertain any thoughts of Nick in any way as we saw with the talk she had with Diana.(05-31-2017, 04:29 PM)irukandji Wrote: But I wanted to view her strictly as a woman and wondered what she would do if she was suddenly placed in a predicament where Nick and Eve might start developing feelings for one another.
Just to be clear even if Nick wanted to go back to Juliette/Eve IMO Eve would not want to because I see Eve as too smart for Nick. I think Eve might have left with Trubel even if she did not go to back to HW.
HW not taking her back was a huge blow because they did give her focus, drive and purpose. I do think she was smart enough to try and piece together what was left of her life and her mind without Nick being centre of Juliette's life like before when she knew Juliette was no longer the centre of his (see "the question only Nick would know the answer to" in 6x03). She basically chose herself but the journey to get there was long, painful and violent, it cost her too much. Juliette in S6 as Eve took back control of her life, something I wish Juliette would have done way back in S1, S2 at the very latest.
