An isolated warehouse is not a good environment for her or for her baby. Nick isn't around long enough to make it even remotely worthwhile. I'm glad she's at least got a car and has gotten her job back. I really would have liked to have seen her get out on her own rather than rely on Nick. He's just not all that supportive in my opinion.I don’t think so either if I compared it to my life. I shudder to think what my life had to become for me to think what Adalind has is better. I’m not sure I could have gotten past sharing a bathroom.
But Adalind’s life before S5 was what I was comparing it to. Renard’s henchman, The Royals’ henchman, running for her life, giving birth in the middle of nowhere, her baby taken from her, bait/reward for Juliette, etc, etc etc.
Compared to that her current life is mundane & safe, and she is mothering her son.
I agree about Adalind & Kelly’s current living conditions and their isolation. Adalind should have gone back to work as soon as possible, thanked Nick for giving them a place to stay, and moved her and the baby into a normal home environment. Nick could install an alarm system and surveillance equipment in a regular house/apartment.
But I think the show presents Nick as this really good guy taking care of and protecting his son and his son’s mother in a really cool fortress... and it has a great rooftop.
