There are those that see it as absolute. Morality is based on ones belief system. For years society has formed the justification for these beliefs. How many of the comments judge the characters based on who they sleep with. How many comments are not based on what the character did but who they did it to. Kill a bad guy your a hero, kill someone not a bad guy you are a villain. People forget one persons terrorist is the others persons freedom fighter.Syscrash,
Pick any argument on this form. You have one side that states the absolute facts this is what happened. They other side counters with it being justified or not justified according to what they believe. Example the two biggest sources of discussion Adalind and Juliette. They both without a doubt have participated in unacceptable actions based on societies standards yet one is judged harsher than the other. The judgement is based solely on the commenters personal beliefs. Of the women in Nick's life Aunt Mari dead, Adalind involved. Juliette in a coma, Adalind involved. Juliette a hexenbiest, Adalind involved. Nick mom dead, Juliette involved. Yet Juliette is framed as unredeemable and Adalind is his destined love. Every argument reason breaks down to Juliette killed his mom. The impact is something only based on belief of the severity of the action, and the emotions these beliefs bring. This ignores the fact that Adalind had active involvement, while Juliette had passive involvement.
There are moral absolutes. Some morals are codified in law. Those who cannot abide by those absolutes face consequences. You mention killing. Here is a recent example:

You can read it and try to paint the intruder as the victim and the 80 year old granny as the perpetrator, but I will applaud her as a hero and Steven Sheppard as the criminal. I expect the courts will agree with me.
Juliette, planned the crime together. At Kenneth's direction she lied to Kelly to lure her to the house. She and Kenneth arrived at the crime scene together, she was present during the murder and left the crime scene with the blood stained Kenneth. Juliette Silverton, DVM (Hexenette) was a willful active participant in the murder of Kelly Burkhardt. There is case law regarding "Repentance of Secondary Parties" at:
http://www.lawteacher.net/cases/criminal...-cases.php
Quote:After a crime has been committed and before an abandonment of the common enterprise can be established there must be something more than a mere mental change of intention and physical change of place by those associates who wish to dissociate themselves from the consequences. What must be done to break the chain of responsibility will depend upon the circumstances of each case.1. Hexenette did nothing to change her physical place. She was in the house and knew what was happening.
Where practicable and reasonable there must be timely communication of the intention to abandon the common purpose from those who wish to dissociate themselves from the contemplated crime to those who desire to continue in it. "Timely communication" ought to be such communication, verbal or otherwise, that will serve unequivocal notice upon the other party to the common unlawful cause that if he proceeds upon it he does so without the further aid and assistance of those who withdraw.
2. She did nothing to dissociate with Kenneth. In fact she celebrated the murder in Nick's bed to show her loyalty to him and their plan.
3. She gave no indication at all that she wanted out. She totally failed to "serve unequivocal notice upon the other party to the common unlawful cause that if he proceeds upon it he does so without the further aid and assistance of those who withdraw."
Juliette (aka, Hexenette and FrankenEve) is GUILTY of the murder of Kelly Burkhardt.
