For example, there are some people who would like to see Juliette forgiven or obtain redemption in season six.
I am wondering something though. Is the act of forgiveness really necessary to further the Grimm story?
If this was Star Trek or some other deep thinking science fiction series, I would say forgiveness and redemption were necessary to the story. But this is Grimm, dealing with a fantasy guy who fights a side of people regular humans can't see. There's magic and government agencies, conspiracies and a revolution. It's really just a fluff series. So is it a waste of the viewers' time and the valuable episode time to deal with forgiveness and redemption?
I agree with your assessment. As a series based on fairy tales, I do not feel redemption is necessary, especially Nick. Fairy tales supposedly have 'morals to the story' and the need of redemption is subjective, as is an individual's idea of right and wrong. I enjoy this type of conversation, as it helps to understand how other people think and feel. IMHO.
