I guess the budget had something to do with it but the return of Adalind's powers didn't amount to much. Diana and Juliette got the "cool" Hex scenes.
Rosalee saying they didn't even know if her powers would return in the same way earlier in the season didn't amount to anything either. I thought the return of her powers had the potential to lead to something interesting but it never did.
They went from one hexenbiest to three in a matter of episodes. You can't give all of them cool hexen tricks to perform at the same time which begs the question why even have three hexenbiests at the same time?
I forgot if it was in season 5 or 6 when Adalind tells either Nick or more likely Rosalee how glad she was that she took the Hex suppressant as a test run for the potion they made for Juliette, that she destroyed. She also claimed that if her powers were to come back she was going to be a different Hexenbiest.

I don't remember her saying that.
I know she was afraid if her powers returned that she'd be the same hexen witch from S1-2, the mean and ugly version of herself.
I don’t remember that either. I recall Adalind telling her mother after being exhumed in S4 that she was going to do right by her children. And her conversation with Rosalee in S5 E2 that she was worried about when the suppressant wore off and that the suppressant might have a bad effect on the Hexenbiest. And her fear later in S5 that Nick would kill her if he found out she was a Hexenbiest again. Despite all the hoopla that the Hexenbiest negatively influenced/controlled the host, the suppressant wearing off didn’t disrupt Adalind’s mindset/lifestyle change.

Robyn, I think you clarified where I got that interpretation of my thoughts of Adalind’s thinking.
