Meisner didn't put Trubel in the hospital the Trubel went after to many of the Black Claw or got caught in ambush. She somethings as we have seen is to fearless.

I didn't say Meisner put Trubel in the hospital. I was saying Adalind let Meisner in, without any information as to what he was up to. For all she knew he could have been the one that beat up Trubel and was there to finish the job. All Adalind knows is Meisner help her and Diana get out of Vienna.
Adalind knows they are hiding from all kinds of people. If she where actually a responsible mother, why would she risk putting her child in danger of Meisner. She knows Meisner is a mercenary working for the highest bidder.
It is just one more thing that shows as a mother she makes bad decisions. She is still thinking of herself first. If it was just her cozying up to a killer might be ok. But as a mother charged with protecting a child, and in hiding. Inviting a killer in might not be a wise move. At least she should have called Nick before letting him in no after. Then she give Nick the line she trust him. based on what. Even in Vienna she did not know who he was working for.

@crossbar and jsgrimm. Actually, we don't know what happened to Truble. Yes, it's likely that she got into a serious fight with Black Claw and made a run for Nick because she couldn't get back to HW. Maybe he was closer? Maybe she thought Black Claw didn't know who and where he was?
But, it could have been someone else like the werrat. I think it was Black Claw, but you never know.

Even if you erase the past. You are still and will always be left with. Adalind signed a magical contract, trading her daughters life for power. At some point that is a price that Diana is going to have to pay. It is a magical contract, there is no going to court and having it annulled. there is no hiding from it.
This is not like putting your child up for adoption and later wanting to get to know them, hoping for forgiveness. It is not even that she thought about it and changed her mind. Adalind completed the transaction. And since has made no attempt to correct the action. She has been all find and happy with her payment, even bragging.
But you still standby "No matter what she has done in the past, she's still a mother to Diana"
Sean knows Adalind sold Diana, what happens when Nick finds out. Do you really think he will entrust Kelly with her. Do you not think in the back of Nick mind he will wonder would she trade Kelly. Sean asked big Kelly would she die for Diana. The question is would Adalind die for her kids. She would fight to protect them. But would she be willing to die for them. Nick would die for Kelly. He would have died for Juliette.
But until Adalind steps in front of the symbolic bullet like Nick and Juliette have done for each other. I have doubts about Adalind character as a person or mother.

This is one of the things that has bothered me about the series. Adalind was ready to sell her own child to the highest bidder. Then in the episode "The Law of Sacrifice" she becomes Mommy of the Year. Huh? What? Really? I never bought that plot line.
I think Adeline let Meisner in because she knew and trusted him. He had saved Adeline and Diana when he could have killed her and taken the baby. As far as selling the child, that was before a bond was formed between them. She called them "we" and was surprised and delighted when she did so. Motherhood is something you can grow into, giving up your own desire, putting the needs of the child first(ditto fatherhood). Do I think she is perfect? No, but I haven't met anyone who was.

The question still exist, why trust Meisner the viewers don't. We have seen he can save you one minute and be asked to kill you the next.
I still don't understand your logic on giving Adalind a pass on selling Diana. I maybe could get on board if at the last minute Adalind changed her mind and backed out. But she completed the contract. If she was really remorseful about the deal, wouldn't she have offered to return her powers and cancel the contract. Wouldn't she have shown regret for having powers knowing what she gave up to get them.
Instead in Sean apartment she is ecstatic over being a hexenbiest again. While holding her daughter, the price for having these powers she is so happy about.
I do wonder why Sean never confronted Adalind about the sell. He knew. He even made a bid before he realized it was his daughter he was bidding on.

Odd you brought up the contract and Adalind's powers, we know the gypsy Queen didn't honor the contact would that have broken the contact or could we have fallout from that contact yet?

I've never gotten over her tampering with her own pregnancy so that the child would be more desirable and she could get a higher price for it. Who knows what she did to Diana in the process. I don't like Nick because he constantly compromises his own integrity and puts the public at risk. But Adalind changing her own child so she could profit is just about the most despicable thing I've seen a character do. Can't make a silk purse out of that sow's ear. If Nick only knew. I hope he finds out and soon.
