The comments were related to the “hoopla” part, not the “carpenter” part.

I'm wondering why there was a need to make the comments in the first place.

I guess I'm just wondering why you're so bothered by what I write.

And by the way, there was a big "hoopla" about Nick getting his job back, otherwise there wouldn't have been a scene where the police were cheering him, Hank, and Wu on when they came back to the precinct.

In one hand you are complaining about the realism of the show's police procedures and cleaned up crime scenes. In the other hand, you have no complaints about the existence of Grimms and Wessen beasts and "The Stick". Its a fantasy show. Its not "Law and Order" or "NCIS". Law and Order's many episodes are based on actual crime cases, hence the realism is more prevalent. This is more of the SyFy. Realism goes out the window.

The "hoopla" over Nick's return to the precinct wasn't because Nick got his job back. "Renard" had publicly praised Nick, Hank and Wu for the "exemplary job" they did on the "undercover operation" that would lay the blame for the attack on the North Precinct on corrupt cops led by Conrad Bonaparte. They were being cheered by colleagues who thought they had broken a major case involving the murders of multiple police officers.
