It's not a big deal and you stating it's so doesn't make it so. Nick's trust is not a consideration for Renard. It never was. He operates outside of Nick's realm. If Nick wants to trust him fine. If he doesn't fine.
All I was saying is that from a terroristic point of view, Nick should have told him where he was going. He doesn't have to tell him why.
You asked me to explain. I explained but apparently that's never going to be good enough because you want to make a big deal out of it. I get that you disagree. Believe me, I get it.
Apparently, it's a big deal to you since you said Nick should've told Renard and you're bringing up the possibility of a terrorist attack.
Also, Nick can't tell Renard where he was going without Renard easily figuring out the why. The two go hand-in-hand. Nick tells him he's going to Germany, where the Black Forest is located, and doesn't give a second thought on what that could mean for Renard?
You said that Nick's trust is not a consideration for Renard. That's not the issue here. The issue is that's it a consideration for Nick. That's the reason he didn't tell him.
I get that you think Nick should've told Renard because of a possibility of terrorist attack. I don't agree but I do understand your explanation. I guess it's safe to say that Nick thought telling Renard about his trip would do more harm than good.
