New Guy, I think you misinterpreted my comments. I didn't mean that Renard didn't do anything wrong, but rather, Renard only admitted his involvement in Marie's assassination & the key attempts, blaming the Royals for his behavior and throwing Adalind under the bus to protect himself. Nick, as a Grimm and detective, never bothered with investigating Renard's activities to learn what he might be up to. Nick basically took Renard at his word and was quickly working for and alongside him with very little apprehension.
The same with Hank. Unless I missed something in a episode, Nick and Hank believe Adalind using the love spell on Hank was her own doing. My point is, as detectives they should have put two and two together and surmised Renard had to be behind the love spell that almost killed Hank.
If I'm wrong and they do know, why all the hate directed at Adalind when they were comfortable working with Renard.
