I know it ticks a lot of people that Juliette became Eve and look at that as some kind of excuse for not apologizing for her part in luring Kelly out in the open. But from a reality of the series perspective, how could Eve go back to being Juliette? I assume HW communicated her death to her parents. No one came sniffing around to find out what happened to her. Furthermore, I'm not sure how she could actually go back to being Juliette. I would assume, HW being a government entity, would have made sure everything about Juliette was destroyed and everything about Eve created. So, for Eve to suddenly go back one day and declare herself as Juliette, would seem to me to be an exercise in madness. While I think that would be a really, really cool story arc to deal with, in her case, I think it would be impossible to prove.
Secondly, what makes Eve any different from say, Monroe or Rosalee, or even Nick. They all had pasts, and in the case of Monroe and Rosalee, pasts that they have stated they are no longer a part of. Monroe hunted and ate humans. Rosalee was a drug addict and from her comments, worse. They've never apologized to their victims for what they were in the past. Instead they seem to look upon their current selves as a way of improving over the past. Eve stated she found a strength and purpose she never had before. Really, the only difference is she refers to her past as Juliette. I don't think there was ever a split personality or even a personality disorder.
What I find weird is the fact that the stick gave her emotions. It's obvious they are not Juliette's emotions. The question is, whose emotions are they and why did the stick feel it necessary to bestow her with feelings rather than just healing her injuries?
