Those are what I call internal consistency issues.
Well, actually they're not consistency issues. Inconsistency I can deal with. What I'm seeing on Grimm goes way beyond inconsistency. First off, I don't expect Grimm to be Law and Order or CSI. However, the series set parameters for itself and the characters are expected to act within those parameters. The setting is Portland, not some made up place. Nick and Hank are detectives, not bounty hunters. They're the good guys whose job is to protect the innocent and serve the public. They are not supposed to serve themselves.
I would applaud intelligent and prudent methods to capture wesen and bring them to justice. But Nick and Hank have rarely done that. Instead, criminals get murdered. Along the way, Nick and Hank have no compunction in committing various crimes to guarantee a successful outcome. That includes planting evidence or completely eliminating it, often with the aid of Captain Renard. Not a once or twice instance where it could be overlooked, but continually. It's like TJ Cooper said, it is stupid character behavior which goes back to sloppy writing.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
