@Gretel. A couple of points.
I don't think Truble can disappear just now. She wasn't comfortable being dependent on Nick and Juliette, But she didn't want to just hit the road again. Now Nick is dependent upon her. He needs her to be his 'seeing-eye' grimm as they mentioned at Comic-Con. Without her he's now a walking target for anyone with a grudge. That changes the whole dynamic of their relationship.
As far as the FBI is concerned, I believe they would try to cover up the fact that one their agents went rogue. In real life the FBI is notorious for their arrogance toward other law enforcement agencies and their tendency to pawn the blame off on others when things go into the toilet. The FBI are real jerks. This is something the show got right in S2 episodes 1 and 2.
If Juliette bails out on Nick now I hope her character dies a slow and painful death! That would be so low down and dirty when the man is in the situation he is now!
