Wow, that's some proof you got there, henry. Sorry, I don't buy it. You're ignoring the entire episode and what transpired up to the scene between Renard and Nick.
That’s rich your ingoring the whole show, Renard was a power hungry bastard who didn’t give a damm about getting Dinaia back until Rachel brought up the idea in 5x13. He was working with Rachel and BC from the end of 5x12 unwards before he even know any thing about Diania. As long as BC were powerful and could help him rise Renard would buy anything they were selling as Power is what Renard cares about most as Roiz and Kouf explianed below. I certainly think he would turn his back on BC if they lost power but as long as they were in power he would 100 percent follow thier mythology.
Interviews
Roiz tells TVLine, noting that while winning control of the Oregon city would be a definite achievement, “I think he’s one of those poor souls who will never be satisfied and will always be looking for another opportunity.”
Or, as executive producer James Kouf puts it: “Whoever will give him the power is where he wants to be. He’s very fluid.
He also said Renards views his and Adalinds daughter as more than just a duagther but also a pawn for power.

”Sasha Roiz says that his character views Diana as “so much more than their daughter.
Sasha Roiz
She is definitely a very strategic pawn in this whole mythology. She’s proven to be someone who’s gifted and has a significant amount of power.”
He adds: “There’s a lot of people vying for this girl.”
