I don't even find your snippet all that convincing, henry. Renard found a way to get Diana back but in order to do that, Adalind had to come to the mansion. So Adalind comes to the mansion, Renard told her they were not in control, and when Adalind asks where Diana is, Renard replies they are bringing her to the mansion.
Diana is being dangled before both of them as a carrot. Plus, the mansion was heavily guarded at that point. That was something you neglected to put into your snippet, henry, and all of this occurred within the episode you snipped.
