*After* he told her that he was not going to let her being a hexenbiest destroy what they had. That shows a stifled love, one that has super imposed limits and is not willing to go outside the box.
That is a very contrary side to Nick, who's supposed to be the understanding grimm. Not hardly.
So telling her repeatedly he was in love with her even as Hex. Wasn’t giving up on what they had. He would never hurt her. Which he never did. Looking to help her and coming up with a partial solution, which he did.
How much more understanding could the guy be?
Telling Juliette he's not going to let her hexenbiest destroy what they have isn't a compliment. It's ignoring what she is and not finding a way to adapt to it. She's changed and he's refusing to accept the change.
She was looking to reverse her situation from the time she was experience the change, way before she shows Nick. Even after she moves out and moves in with Sean, she was happy to help him open the book so she could look for a cure
She goes to Henrietta for the same solution and the spice shop looking for the same reversal
He wasn’t trying to compliment her. He kept telling her he was responsible for her condition and was helping her to get what she wanted. Removing her Hexenbiest and be herself again.
Nick was consistent on that mission. Even when she was staying in the hotel with Ken. Nick called her to get to the spice shop to help her.
What does she do in return? Beats the crap out of her friends who just made a potion she was asking for. She is the one who changes for the worst.
Nick didn’t do anything to make her change her mind. It was all her doing. And if you claim it was the Hex in her taking over, It is still her doing. Nick complementing her or not would have changed diddly-squat! He did nothing to change her.
I guess you forgot the line when he tells her. She had to learn about him being a Grimm now it was his turn to learn about her being a Hexenbeist.
Oh wait, I made that line up based on my opinion. All this is not in the script. It’s just an opinion!
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
