Nick is not at fault for everything in the show but he is the one that wanted to be a Grimm and he knew the one at greatest risk was to Juliette who would be drinking potion usually meant for a hexenbiest or wesen.
Juliette decided to take that risk as well. He didn't force nor manipulate her to take it and initially told Elizabeth, rather rudely I might add, that this was his problem and not Juliette's.
They all had a part to play but I'm not laying this at Nick's feet. Juliette made the decision to help and suffered for it. I'm not questioning her motives but she did tell him he needs to be a Grimm again because she wanted to help Monroe and Rosalee just as much as he did. Nick could've decided for her to not inhale from the hat but so could she. Nobody foresaw what would happen.
Hell Rell, don’t try to understand the logic behind some of the Juliette supports of her behavior. They are not able to understand the differences of the two Hexenbeist, Juliette and Adelid. Based on their sense of morality, it is obviously different from the rest of us.
We can easily agree that Adalind used her powers to attract men and to manipulate them. She was a slut!
In the end of season 4, Juliette was also a Hexenbiest. She didn't use her powers to enchant men. She just easily spread her legs after being in a committed relationship for, at this point 4 years.
All this crap that she was free from Nick on a break for months is pure denial of her infidelity. If you follow the scrip. There is plenty of proof she was not on a break up based on her reactions. And the vengeful reactions of her evil in here did not take place in the course of months but in a week or two, based on the season 4 ending time line. Not from speculation and interjections of facts from her supporters that were not in the script
In another light, Adalind had her mother killed and daughter taken away from Nicks mom. If anyone needed to get revenge on Kelly, it was Adalind.
Let’s even agree that Nick was more responsible for Juliette becoming the Hexenbeist that she embraced. Is justifying killing Kelly and a bunch of neighbors because Nick is protecting Adalind with his baby in her? A baby that was conceived during the RAPE of Nick? Can any of the Juliette supports justify this logic?
Using the excuse that her revenge for Nick protecting Adalind from Juliette is PURE BOGUS!
If you can state that Juliette was on a break up. Had all the rights to embrace her new life. The script shows her ranting to Nick and the gang that she wasn’t broken and did not need the help. Then, she should have walked away.
I am not changing the script. I am concluding that she was an immoral evil character based on what is given to us to view. Not what I was wishing for.
Was I hoping that she would embrace her Hexenbiest and forgive Nick for his part? YES. She would be more patient with Nick, take more time to see if Nick would come around and attempt to accept her new condition? Hell YES.
But it did not happen!
