Then she would have offered some advice to Nick about Juilette. Nick would only get email about his sons progression rather than seeing his son. The King also still would have been killed. With the threat to Diana gone they would have come back to Portland.
I agree with you and I was thinking the same thing in paragraph one when watching that Grimm show for the first time too.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
