Quote:Adalind planned to sell her baby (mistake) her righting it is choosing to keep it is what I am referring to.That is minimizing her actions. She sold her child not just planned to sell her child. She signed the contract and accepted payment. Not the action of someone that saw the error of her ways.
Quote:Unfortunately her mistake would follow her for a long while after that as it should have. This is also minimizing Adalind's action. You saw for a long while. How about for the rest of Diana short life. At the rate Diana is growing she will never see her 18 birthday. How do you make right that for selfish reason you issued your child a death sentence. Someone debated Diana going to school. What would be the purpose if she is never going to make it to be an adult. Instead of going to class why not let her enjoy the short life she has left. Let her use her magic as she wants. She will be dead before the consequences become a problem.
Quote:The first two years of Diana's life are tumultuous largely because of the people that "raised". Kelly though she was the "good hands" of the equation but that didn't last long as we know what happened as a result of taking Diana away from her mother. From what we see Kelly taught Diana to use and control her magic. Considering how little time she has left. That would be the best for her. What would Adalind have done. Taught her to limit the use of her powers. Why impose limit. She will not grow up to be evil. Because she will never have the chance to grow up. She will only get older.
Quote: it was either take the suppressant, show them it worked "save" Juliette or find herself splat on the sidewalk under a stone gargoyleNone of what you speculate would happen actual happened. Taking the suppressant was a risk that had no benefit. Considering Adalind has made several potions and each has had a side effect. It would make sense that the suppression also has a side effect. We just have not seen it yet.
Considering Diana only has less then a year and she will be an adult. The best thing for her is for Eve to train her to protect herself. Instead of people continuing to think the best thing is to treat her like a child. People talk about the people Daina has killed. Because of what she is there will be a lot more. Unless she is trained she will be one of them. There is not normal life in Diana's future, Adalind saw to that. Instead of being in denial of what Diana is like Nick was in denial of what Juliette was. Diana like Juliette should be in training to handle her powers. Especially Diana she will be constantly challenged by those that feel they are stronger then her.
What I also think is ironic. Diana is growing rapidly. Just so happens Hanna is going through a growth spurt. When she showed up in season 5 they played down her age. Look at her now she looks like the teenage she is. I see this as the show to continue with the rapid aging. I do hope they provide a speculation that the aging will stop at some point. I would hate they leave it with the prospects of her not making it to see her 18th birthday. Of course they could use that as a reason for not limit her abilities.
