Why would Kelly want to kick Adalind's butt? Kelly kidnapped Adalind's child, she has no room to judge.

Kelly kidnapping Diana lead to Nick losing his powers to Adalind falling pregnant with her grandson. Kelly truly has no room to do anything except give Diana back to Adalind.

Nick had already warned his mother via email that Adalind and Viktor were back in Portland looking for her and Diana, so why would she stroll into town with the kid?! Kelly wasn't the least bit dumb and would have contacted Nick AFTER receiving Juliette's email via a phone call. Killing off Kelly as dumb, IMO!

Juliette arrives home, and Nick tells her that Viktor and Adalind know his mom has Diana. Juliette says they have to warn her, but Nick says he sent an email but doesn't know if she'll get it. Nick then gets a reply from his mom acknowledging his message along with a picture of Diana using telekinesis to levitate her toys. Nick gets a call about the alley murder, so he tells Juliette to be careful and leaves.

Adalind and Kelly got along fine. If she never died she would have found out about Baby Kelly. Her first option would have been to take Adalind with her to raise the two children. She then would have asked Nick how he felt about it. She would have gave him the same speech she gave Adalind before she took Diana.
Then she would have offered some advice to Nick about Juilette. She would have given him a speech about how he has a son now and how he needs to deal with Juilette because she is a threat to his son and her grandson. Then Kelly, Diana, and Adalind would have left. Truble still would have shot Juilette and Juilette still would have become Eve. Nick would only get email about his sons progression rather than seeing his son. The King also still would have been killed. With the threat to Diana gone they would have come back to Portland.

I agree with you and I was thinking the same thing in paragraph one when watching that Grimm show for the first time too.

Here's something I was thinking about. Since Kelly was out in the open with Diana, there could be a very good chance that Adalind would find out. What do you think Adalind's move would be? My thought is that she would be trying to track down Kelly, and when she found her, she'd kill her.

Rewatch the series since a few days at the moment I'm on season 3 again - Adalind is so stupid and naive she has " sold " her first born baby just because she wanted to be a Hexenbiest again. And "raped" Nick... Even if some say there was no rape. For some of us, however, it was one. And not only that because of the stupid Adalind - Juliette became a Hexenbiest. And because of Adalind everything happened. Maybe she changed later on her mind but her action lead to everything. And yes she would have deserve to get kicking her butt.

The last person Adalind would want to kill after Nick is mama Kelly after giving birth to her grandson. Mama Kelly told Nick to take care of her grandson in "The End" but not Diana.
