Thank you! I was just watching another bit of news on the pandemic and wondered how it would be treated in the fantasy world of Grimm. I was thinking that a pandemic might be the thing that brings them out into the open. Of course you have to wonder how a nurse, or even a doctor would react to a wesen woging in the middle of say, a fever.

I would guess that with as large a wesen population as Portland's, they'd be going to wesen or kehrseite-schlich-kennen doctors who would know how to handle that in-office. Hospitalizations would be another matter altogether. But since we found out in S05 that the govt already knew about wesen, maybe CDC would spin something about the disease causing violent physical transformations in a small percentage of patients and make it an argument for why it's so important to be vaccinated, masked and distanced.

It would have to figure that, in just about every hospital, there were at least some wesen. Either they were nurses, doctors, of support personnel. There'd have to be wesen patients as well. I like the idea of communicating that wesen could be showing their true selves as the result of the pandemic.
