Before kids and mortgage. Two of the three strikes and you are out in Life. The third being married. Yep Kiddies, Life is a one-time up to bat. Once you get those 3 strikes, your life ends as it was, and theirs begins. Anyway, we went to Portland in the end of August, to ski on the upper half of Mount Hood, on left over snow from the previous winter. It was usually corn snow melting on a deep snow base. The day temperature was usually in the upper 60's, low 70’s. Got to ski wearing t-shirts and jeans with just gaiters over the ski boots. I was able to do it twice then I got seduced by the skiing options of Lake Tahoe.
