Yes, I agree that they are linked or could be easily become linked. Diana's birth and kidnappings directly leads to Kelly conception.

I know Hexenbiest/Zauberbiest babies are supposed to age fast, but aging THAT fast would be pretty silly. Kelly would be a young adult with the mental capacity of a two-year-old.

Under normal circumstances, I'd probably say time travel would be jumping the shark, but it's obvious at this point the writers don't really care about breaking their own rules.
Some kind of dream sequence experienced by Nick or Adalind, on the other hand, would be less of a stretch. Maybe a nightmare premonition about Kelly growing up into an UberGrimm who's slaughtered thousands of Wesen.
