One reason I don't have a good answer is we simply do not know the total number of inmates but if memory servers (as sometimes it doesn't) I'd say about 1/4 looked to be wesen.(07-20-2015, 06:38 AM)jsgrimm45 Wrote:(07-18-2015, 03:43 PM)Elkhound Wrote:You opened up a good line. Well, according to Renard, most of the crime in Portland is from Wessons. Not sure he was totally serious when he said that. but just from the evidence presented in the show, a lot of crime in Portland is Wesson related.
He said that most was Wesen related. But what is Wesen related? He didn't say that a majority of the perpetrators were Wesen. Just that Wesen were involved. How? Victims? Witnesses? Investigators? (Surely there are some Wesen on the PPD? There was that Baurswien arson investigator, then there's the Captain himself who is a half-Zauberbiest, and the juvie CO who is a Lowen--surely there are others?
How would you handle it if the word was to get out to the wesen on the PD that Nick is a Grimm? I take it the CO lowen didn't say anything but she knew Monroe was that why? How would they work with Nick do you see the brotherhood of the badge being a part of this? Could these wesen be a help or do you see some wanting to destroy Nick? Like I said you opened up the idea. This does make the threat have more points to look at. Thanks
JS, Elkhound and Lou,
Greetings to you all.
You may recall or look up on Wikia:
In To Protect and Serve Man, episode 2.11 “Nick and Hank pay a visit to the prison where Craig is at. On the way to the cell, multiple Wesen inmates woge at the sight of Nick, who is visibly disturbed. Hank notices and comments that he doesn’t even want to know.”
My memory of that scene in the prison shows literally tons of Wesen inmates incarcerated for who knows what. They did not much like Nick the Grimm walking through.
So my 2 cents is yes lots of crime is not just related to but committed by Wesen.

I'm not sure they woge because of Nick maybe it because prisons are that stressful. I do remember that the ones we seen were some we had seen in the books which were the kind likely to be criminals.
