I would add that Juliette no longer wanted a life with Nick after she learned how Nick felt about her. He shied away from her, which is not a good thing to do to any woman.
This is off topic here, but if Juliette really didn't want Nick, she would have been gone the moment she turned into a hexenbiest. She wasn't. She stayed and admitted what she was to Nick. If Nick was really the type that loved Juliette, in other words, it's the priority of his life, he would have gotten that ring and proposed to her on the spot.
In my opinion, the only thing Nick wanted badly enough not to let anything stand in his way was being a grimm. That was first. Everything and everyone else was second to him.
