I agree with you and Faceinthecrowd I will never tell someone not to watch a show just because Im not into it it's not my business what you want to watch. All of my friends love Dexter but it's way too much for me to sit through but they can watch it and talk about it. My best friend lives for Greys Anatomy which because we both work at the hospital don't understand but everybody has their own idea of what they want.
Having said that I agree what was said about why watch if it makes you so unhappy but that's your life not mine
Sorry as usual went off on my own rant
But why bring it up then? I mean, if you believe it's the person's life and not your business, why waste your time?
I don't mind responding to a thoughtful question from someone asking me why I have the opinion I do. Someone who genuinely is interested in what I have to say. But you have to understand, there are certain words and certain phrases that generate a tone in posts. That tone does not come across as coming from someone who's interested in what I have to say. Instead it often comes off as extremely negative and reveals to me that the person has absolutely no interest in what I have to say.
I mean, people can type that they're genuinely interested in what others have to say, but it's those words and phrases that seem to state otherwise.
