I don't remember any indication Rosalee rented the entire floor. The rooms appeared to be adjourning, the outside eating area seemed empty, maybe its the off season or in the middle of the week?
I wasn't saying Rosalee rented the entire floor. I was saying does Rosalee need to do that since the scoobies weren't enough company for his birthday for some reason. It was a getaway so more people showing up would've been difficult if they were all going to stay in the hotel. It wasn't just a simple dinner or one night thing.

I wasn't the one who asked the sarcastic question about Rosalee renting the entire floor. If you recall, you are the one who asked. And why are you assuming I was talking about Monroe having a boatload of friends? I was not. However, it's certainly not out of the question for him to invite one or two. This appears to be a special age for him as he's never had any getaway parties before.
Are Nick and company were such a big deal that Monroe's own friends would be ignored? I guess it could be. Perhaps since he took up with Nick he doesn't have outside friends any more. I'm sure that would be a big personal regret for Monroe.
Aside from that, Eve isn't a close personal friend. It doesn't make any more sense for Monroe to leave out a close personal friend or two of his, but yet invite her.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.

The guests were people who had fought side be side with him, saving both his life and theirs. That sort of bond is unique, normal friendship does not come close.

You can try to turn it into some kind of noble effort all you want, but if the creative team wanted the audience to buy into that, then they wouldn't have had the characters all turn silly as the result of a love potion. It was a birthday party. There was every reason for at least one friend of Monroe's to be there and no reason for Eve to be present.

Okay, if you want to be realistic about it, the reason all the main characters in GRIMM showed up, and the only other actors were evil wessen, is so that everyone in the credits could show off their comedic chops. None of Monroe's wessen friends made that cut. Renard and Diana were in the mix for the same reason. And everyone succeeded. I really like the hallway scene, especially Hank's, and Diana's play date. How about you?
