she had always ran to a safe haven, that place or person where she feels safe and loved and thinks they like her when pushed or pressured, we went to vienna after S01 events, ran to sean renard for safety after nick and mum event, then ran to vienna for safety and her baby; then finally to nick then when the pressure came up again, she ran to sean again.
she might just want what juliette have, the friends, the boyfriend/husband and that opportunity came up when juliette died and felt insecure when she came back and again safe when she realized she's not same person; more reason she didn't want to be a hexenbiest anymore cos she feels she wants that perfect life juliette had.
But doesn't this still go back to what izzy said, Adalind has always been all about Adalind? I'm wondering why she hauled it off to Sean if all she ever wanted was to feel safe and secure. The scoobies and Nick made it plain she was accepted. They would have all fought for her. She was one of them, only to leave them high and dry.
I don't consider her note to Nick as a token of her love. If she really loved him like she said, she would have stood by him.

Exactly. Adalind never would have come to Nick in the first place if the royals hadn't booted her pregnant behind out in favor of Juliette. She was going to sleep with Viktor (sp?) on the sly and then pretend it was his baby she was carrying. It was only when she was forced to go to Nick that she brought this supposed cure with her. And that's an interesting ace to have up a sleeve. It shows that Adalind is always thinking. If something doesn't work out, she always has an alternative. Nick was her alternative.
So she holes up with Nick until something better comes along, which it did. Conrad gives her everything she wants, but makes sure she sticks to the bargain by forcing her to wear a cursed ring. It seems Conrad knows her very well, doesn't he?

him taking adalind in, means he's left with no choice, a baby needs his mother so he can't deprive the kelly of his mother so she had to live with him.
the only choice he had going for him, was doing a paternity to determine whether the baby was his and sleeping with adalind cos that was pretty much a conscious decision.
I'm not saying Nick shouldn't accept Kelly, *if* he's Nick's son. What I'm saying is the timing on this baby is way, way off. They take nine months to cook and this one was done and popped out in about six.
If Nick isn't putting two and two together and questioning things, he really and truly is a doofus.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
